I've only recently inherited (literally) a library of pre-war annuals, magazines and books from which these images have been sourced.

I've used a retro style for my web-building assistance site, "website rescue". The site contains a huge amount of information but had to be designed in a linear, book-like way to be easily printable for offline reference. The Art Nouveau look was used to give it a bit more personality than your average text-book.

I am currently building a comprehensive site using this style for an executive recruitment firm in Perth, Western Australia. This should be available for public view in the near future.

My principles of simple site design can be seen in a variety of other styles, too. My first interest was in medieval graphics, and I've built a free graphics site to share medieval material. I also use medieval images to build contemporary commercial sites.

My main entertainment sites have modern 3-D graphics, photographs and scans, and I've built a wide range of other sites in a similar modern alternative style (usually with a black background).

I also make very simple business sites with a modern slightly quirky edge (usually with a white background).
