I don't like ads any more than you do. But since I'm not some rich philanthropist who can afford to actually pay to pay server costs to provide these resources, I have to have ads on my sites. At least I only have good, reputable advertisers since now I can control which ads I allow to appear on my sites - the ones I've got here really ARE worth a visit. And I'll have none of those misleading trick-the-newbie "Your system is not operating efficiently" or "You have 1 mail message" type rubbish. Most of them are things I'd be referring you to anyway (I love eBaying for vintage stuff) - if I can get paid for the referral, why not?

I've tried all different combinations of advertising, and do whatever I can to keep it to a minimum. I hate ad pop-ups, adn can't guarantee these links won't result in a pop-up. I use "POW" freeware pop-up remover from analogx.com - it's excellent.

I will be adding ads as I find advertisers I believe to be suitable for the site. It would greatly assist me if you support these advertisers by at least clicking to look at their sites. Any feedback about particular advertisers is appreciated. There may appear to be a lot of ads here on one page, but considering they're the only advertising in my whole web empire (consisting of many thousands of pages of content)...

I only make anything from these links if you spend money with the advertisers. Unfortunately, both pay-per-view and pay-per-click advertising is long dead. Hopefully I've provided links to sites worth spending your hard-earned cash at!

Thanks for your support of retrokat.com.

All the best,

Kat
