26th April 2003

If you are reading this page, then congratulations you are one of the special people that will be helping us to celebrate this rite of passage. We hope that you find all the information you need here, and we look forward to seeing you on April 26th 2003. There are many people to whom we owe thanks, including all the friends and family who have all been so supportive. Our first thank you, however, goes to our dear friend Kat Black who has put all the work into this website.

The site is structured so that you should be able to find anything that you need about the wedding and some general information about Perth and surrounding areas. The links are self explanatory, we're not going to insult your intelligence.

Most people know something of our story, but here are some things that you might not have known:

We met on the Internet. Yep, it's true. Those of you who have done internet dating know that Internet dating isn't that different from the "normal" thing, the introductions just take place in a different space, and you don't know if the person smells good until you meet them in person!

We are both also aware that things happened really quickly (we were engaged within 12 weeks of that in person meeting), and are currently in negotiations with Hallmark who want to bottle our relationship to sell as an accessory to their Valentine's Day range - yes we are that nauseating, and plan to continue as we began!

We aren't planning on going away on a honeymoon immediately after the wedding, so we hope those who are coming from outside Perth can spend a few days enjoying our company and the sights of Perth and Western Australia. We have included some links to sites of local interest, but if you don't see anything that you think you'll like, then drop us a line and we should be able to direct you to something that interests you.
